We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Manager to join our team and play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients.
As a Sales Manager at Filton Packaging, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers. Your primary objective will be to understand our clients’ needs, ensure their satisfaction with our products and services, and drive customer loyalty and retention. Your ability to collaborate with internal teams, deliver effective solutions, and exceed customer expectations will be critical in achieving sales targets and contributing to the company’s overall success.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and providing exceptional customer service.
- Client Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements and objectives, conducting needs assessments to identify opportunities for business growth and tailored solutions.
- Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Order Processing: Coordinate with internal teams to process customer orders efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery and order accuracy.
- Pricing and Quoting: Provide accurate pricing and quotes to customers, in line with company pricing policies and guidelines.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, sharing insights with the sales and marketing teams.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance using CRM software.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue goals.
- Customer Retention: Implement strategies to retain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term customer loyalty
- Proven track record (3+ years) as a Sales Manager or in a customer-facing sales role, preferably in the packaging or related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities, adept at finding solutions to customer challenges and addressing concerns effectively.
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the capacity to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the packaging industry and an understanding of flexible packaging products and applications is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
