The Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Student Awards are open to enrolled students in TAFE, VET, University courses across Australia & New Zealand, that have a direct correlation with packaging, food science, industrial design or engineering, graphic design and or printing. This consists of students still enrolled and the packaging project may have been submitted for a unit of study in the previous year, or developed in the current year. Students who have graduated in the previous year are also eligible by submitting a packaging project undertaken in that year. To participate in the program the packaging project should offer a new solution, irrespective of product, that is innovative, aesthetically appealing, sustainable, easy to manufacture, convenient and brings efficiency to the packaging system.
