We are now seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Sustainability to lead our regional sustainability agenda across Australia, New Zealand, and South Asia.

Key Responsibilities

As our Director of Sustainability, you will be the regional champion and expert, responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership: Developing and executing the integrated ANZ & South Asia sustainability roadmap, directly aligned with our global corporate ESG goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Driving tangible improvements in energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and emissions control across our manufacturing and commercial footprint.
  • Program & Innovation: Leading flagship initiatives in carbon reduction, circular economy, sustainable sourcing, and green manufacturing. You’ll identify, pilot, and scale innovative solutions.
  • Governance & Reporting: Ensuring robust compliance with all environmental regulations and leading the region’s ESG disclosure, including data management, reporting (GRI, CDP, TCFD), and audit readiness.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Acting as our primary ambassador, building strategic partnerships with regulators, NGOs, community groups, investors, and supply chain partners. You will collaborate internally with commercial, supply chain, and plant teams to embed sustainability into business decisions.
  • Cultural Catalyst: Championing a culture of sustainability through inspiring communication, training, and advocacy at all levels of the organization.

What you brings to the table

We are looking for a proven leader with a passion for sustainability and a track record of delivering results.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., ISSP, LEED, ISO 14001) is highly regarded.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in sustainability/ESG, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or an industrial sector.
  • A demonstrable history of developing strategy and successfully executing sustainability programs that yielded measurable reductions in environmental footprint.
  • Deep expertise in contemporary ESG frameworks, reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and the regulatory landscape across the ANZ & South Asia region.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, and gain buy-in from C-suite executives, operational teams, and external stakeholders alike.A strategic, data-driven mindset coupled with excellent project management and business acumen.
