about your role
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration and internal coordination of the ARL Program
- Provide Member support for the use of the ARL Program, including general enquiries, maintenance of Terms and Conditions, PREP evaluation queries and ARL artwork approvals.
- Assist Program Coordinators in the development of Member training and education for the ARL Program, including drafting, formatting and proof-reading documents, and ensuring websites are up to date
- Maintenance of the document register and assist in the coordination of meeting RSVPs, attendance tracking and record keeping, including minute taking, pre-meeting information packs and group document registers for the ARL Advisory Committee, Internal Review Committee, working groups and sub-committees
- Assist with the coordination of meetings and workshops/events as needed
- Proof reading and formatting of documents for external release
- Support all APCO teams by providing timely information about activities or stakeholders relevant to all ARL Program functions
about the program
The Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) Program is an on-pack labelling scheme that is helping consumers to recycle correctly and supporting Brand Owners and packaging manufacturers to design packaging that is recyclable at end-of-life.
The Program features two key elements:
- The Packaging Recyclability Evaluation Portal (PREP) – an online tool that assesses packaging recyclability in the Australian and New Zealand kerbside or approved drop-off recycling systems.
- The Australasian Recycling Label – an on-pack label that provides clear and simple instructions about how to recycle all of the separable packaging components.
