Holmesglen has outlined its commitment to providing quality industry training by launching the new Digital Print Centre. Located at the Chadstone campus, the digital centre will help contribute to increased learning opportunities to the Institute’s printing courses.

Printing is a global industry using the most advanced digital technologies alongside traditional print processes. Holmesglen courses provide the skills to work in this highly competitive industry. From conventional forms to ink-jet technologies, large format printing, digital printing and packaging applications and digital label printing, the printed form remains highly relevant in a digital world.

Led by industry-experts such as Andrew Readman who is an AIP lecturer in the Master of Food and Packaging Innovation course, Holmesglen is leading the way for future generations of printing and design professionals.

Attendees will be able to see:
- Demonstrations of the Sinapse computer simulation presses, Lithography = sheet feed, heatset web, coldest web, Flexography = Inline, Central Impression, Corrugated board.
- Live prints to the range of Konica Minolta digital presses, EFI workstation RIPS and HP wide format inkjets.
- Demonstration of Holmesglens online learning portal (Brightspace) and courses offered..
TIME:
9.45 am arrival for 10.00 am start.
This site visit will take approximately one and a half hours.

PARKING:
Enter at Gate 3 in Batesford road (near Bld. 4&5). Follow the green arrows and park in Student car park ($4). Please allow a 10 min walk (purple arrows) either side of Buildings up to Building 1. (see map).
