The finalists for the 2025 Australasian Bioplastics Association (ABA) scholarship program, in partnership with the Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP), have been announced, where one winner will get the opportunity to attain a Diploma in Packaging Technology, and a second winner a Certificate in Packaging.
The winners will receive a scholarship to complete one of the following:
- Diploma in Packaging Technology – Internationally recognised as the premier qualification in the packaging industry, which prepares students to take responsibility for packaging operations at any level through the supply chain and can also lead to higher level study.
- Certificate in Packaging – Is the ideal first qualification for those starting out on an exciting career in packaging and is recognised as giving an excellent foundation in, and introduction to, the packaging industry.

Winners will be announced at the gala Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) awards ceremony that will be held on the 6th of May at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, New South Wales. The 2025 PIDA awards will be held as a part of the biennial Australasian Packaging Conference that will be held on the 6 & 7 May which will bring together packaging professionals from across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
