AIP and Empauer Partner to Deliver an Innovative Life Cycle Assessment Decision Package for SMEs

The AIP is pleased to announce that the Institute have joined forces with leading sustainability software company Empauer, to offer a comprehensive and cost effective LCA Decision Package for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s). AIP and Empauer have entered into an exclusive MOU, providing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to SME’s to ensure that they are making informed and science-based decisions when selecting packaging materials.

AIP welcomes new ABA Chief Executive Officer

The AIP would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new Chief Executive Officer of the Australasian Bioplastics Association (ABA), Martine Poulain. At a time of unparalleled inquiry and interest in the role of bioplastics in the Circular Economy, both domestically and abroad, Martine joins the ABA, bringing Industry Association experience from other related sectors, together with business experience and is a welcome addition to the Executive Team.

ANZ takes out GOLD Sustainability and Silver President Awards at WorldStar Packaging Awards

A 20 strong delegation of PIDA winners for Australia and New Zealand flew to Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday to attend the 2024 WorldStar Packaging Awards ceremony which was held at ProPak Asia, Bangkok, Thailand. The delegation were not only able to celebrate the fact that the ANZ region took out third in the world for the highest amount of general awards, but to also cheer on two very special award recognitions for the region that were announced on the night.

2024 PIDA | AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED…

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) have announced the winners for the 2024 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards (PIDA) at a gala awards ceremony held on the 16th of August at the Shangri-La, The Rocks, Sydney, NSW. Coordinated by the AIP, the annual PIDA Awards program has been designed to recognise companies and individuals who are making a significant difference in their field across Australia and New Zealand.
