This site visit will provide attendees the opportunity to see both the state-of-the-art Beverage Can facility and the Visy Board site.

Visy Beverage Can Facility

The facility, costing approximately $86 million, is one of the most modern in the world. The plant was constructed to meet growing demand, as a result Visy customers will have access to a broad range of world-class lightweight cans.

Visy Board Facility
The Yatala facility features the highest levels of automation, robotics and process control systems available to the corrugated packaging industry worldwide.

TIME:

9.45 am for a 10.00 am site visit.

This site visit will take approximately two hours.

OH&S:

All attendees must wear long pants, flat covered shoes, no jewellery or watches during visit. The AIP will supply hi-vis vests to all attendees and the site will provide all other PPE such as hair/beard nets and hearing protection.

PARKING:

Ample parking directly in front. Enter via main gate set back from the road, press the Beverage Can Button and they will open the automatic gate, drive down to the first car park where a sign has Reception on it. It is the first building on your right as you drive down the estate.
