Each year our annual Christmas party focuses on helping other people at a time when they need it the most. It is about having fun and knowing that you have made a difference.

1000 Reasons why you need to help in 2019…
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) have spent their Christmas Party every year for the last eight years with a twist. The Members pack Foodbank hampers for people who need some assistance from their community at Christmas time. In 2018 over 200 people packed 1400 hampers for Foodbank to provide to those in need during the holiday season. The hampers included 1000 family hampers and 300 ladies packs. The total valuing over $120,000 worth of items that were either donated, or the funds raised for, by the Association and the wider industry. Over the last eight years, the team has packed 8000 hampers to the value of close to $900,000 for people in need and they look forward to packing even more hampers in 2019. All of industry is invited to donate items to the hampers, funds or attend and participate in December 2019 at Eagle Farm Racetrack..

All ages are invited to attend this special event with the oldest volunteer to date being 85 and the youngest 5.

When: Friday the 6th of December 2019

Where: Eagle Farm Race Track, function area, 230 Lancaster Road Ascot 4007

Time: 10.00 am arrival to 3.00 pm (If you can't make it by 10 am that is OK - you can arrive at anytime throughout the party )

Cost:
AIP Members - $30.00 inc GST
Non-Members - $35.00 inc GST
(Children are very welcome and under 18's are free to attend)
.
This will include lunch and two drinks vouchers. A cash bar will be operating for those who wish to purchase further drinks.

Please wear closed in shoes and comfortable clothing. Feel free to wear Festive Holiday shirts and outfits to make the day more enjoyable.

Parking: Ample parking will be made available on the day at the racecourse. Marshals will direct cars to parking area.
